Set up a ground blind? Which would spook them less?

Not the same day. If I move it this evening I won’t be hunting it until Friday.

I have mainly hunted out of climbers up untill I had small kids. Seldom had an issue with deer noticing me in a climber but they sure seem to pick out a new ground blind.

Don’t have a climber so it will be a ladder stand.

Down here ground blinds take a long time to get used to. I’d rather move a stand if you don’t have a climber or lock-ons.

I would move a tree stand before I started messing with a ground blind

Deeper in the woods between food and bed.

The answer is BOTH. Multiple stands and/or ground blinds. I never sit in the same stand/blind back to back. Keep moving and they won't pin you down (as they do), but always stay clear of bedding areas (and be real cognizant of the wind direction).

Now is the time most places have sales on stands/blinds. Scatter those stands for variable wind directions per the specific day you're hunting.

In the 40 years of deer hunting (bow and gun) I've made a lot of mistakes. Getting too close to bedding areas (and a long ways off), Not using the wind to my advantage every time and not moving locations enough (every day) are the top 3 mistakes.

I’d go in there mid day Wednesday during the rain , and move the ladder stand. I like tents too but they take a while to gain a deers trust. Good luck !

Aground blind put out in the season will get every deer's attention .If you blend it in with some brush and use the terrain to help kept it less noticeable you might be OK . Otherwise I would go with a tree stand of some kind But again I would look for a spot where the other trees help hide or breakup you location. Have you ever tried or checked out a Ghost Blind Easy to set up VERY PORTABLE AND WORK WELL .I have had turkeys within several yards of mind and they did not seem nervous They are somewhat open but you can use them for 2 people at once if you set it up correctly .

Get a climber and you won’t have to worry about it, lol. I put up lock-ons in oak bottoms and travel areas and use the climber for more recent sightings of deer. Lock-ons produce my does, and the climber generally produce my bucks. With a climber I don’t have to worry about the wind, just find a tree for the right wind or just get up about 25-30ft and it doesn’t seem to matter.
