It's a strange fall for sure. Leaves are growing on maple trees on Islands on the big river.
And I dug some red worms the other day

If my Apple seeds sprout I'm going to plant them in some 3 ' sections of 6" pvc to not limit the tap root by spring

I'd try that if I were you

If you have room I would pot them and put them under a grow light tell spring up pot as needed. But that jus a guessing and may be the wrong thing to do for trees

Are the acorns from an oak in the white oak group? They sprout in the fall and continue growing in the spring.
