Just when I think my trapping season and trapping in general is over I start getting critters under my yard equipment trap shed. Wasn't sure what it was, couldn't find any scat or tracks. So last weekend I set a live trap next to the hole and baited with table scraps. Two day later I caught this;



15 pounds 8 ounces (No Neck Coon)

Then yesterday, I saw where I had filled the hole in... it had been reopened. It was a about 6 inch hole so I put a #110 in front of it. I caught the one on the left. Then I reset the trap in case there was something else in there... Well, here are the results:



Haven't skinned or weighed either possum yet, but skinned the coon earlier when I caught it. The one possum has really pretty white coat and other is kind of ugly.

It never ends.

I guess good trappers can't help but catch.

Is there any other kind of possum than the kind that is ugly Y?
