I don’t believe you can sell any game meat and I’m fairly certain beaver are considered game since they have a regulated season. Covered under the Lacey act of Im not mistaken.
You can give it to them because you think they are nice people and they can in turn decide on their own free will to give you some money because they think you are a nice person.

It’s called donations. You both can donate to each other.

The Lacey act covers commerce in illegally taken wildlife. If it was legally taken it doesn't apply. The regulation of sales of wild meats is state by state. In Oregon I can sell any part of a furbearer taken with my trapping license. But the sales of harvested meats falls in the jurisdiction of our Dept of Ag. They seem to take a dim view of me butchering wildlife for public sale. But the loophole is I can sell a whole beaver carcass without advertising its final use and I'm AOK legally...after all, maybe the end user just wants to fertilize his rose bushes.

My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

Pauls Dad used to save Beaver cuts and soak and cook at his camps. He used to write about it.

The answer is, yes. if you can sell the whole animal, you ARE selling the meat. So, parts of animal should be legal to sell.

Why do we eat what we eat? Answer is it tastes good or it is good for you and beaver is both.
