This young man passed the test!

While his superiors utterly failed.

The same superiors who will follow their orders regardless of consequences.
Back the blue until they do it to you.

We need young men and women like this to step up and replace the corrupt ones.

Kersey said he then was contacted by Lt. Justin Hardy, who told him that the Port Wentworth Police Department didn’t want to be held liable in a “use of force” situation involving someone in the LGBTQ community. Kersey still refused to delete the post

the litigious world we live in that makes sense

the military has regs about political speech in public also

Unless things have changed he would not have been dinged in the army I served. Command might not like it but off post out of uniform political speech was untouchable.

For that matter so were statements of personal faith in or out of uniform.

When I served homosexuals were incarcerated by civilian police and dishonorably discharged from the military.

Heres what I found with google. Seems like what Remember.

Quote
The primary guidance concerning political activity for military members is found in DoD
Directive 1344.10. Per longstanding DoD policy, active duty personnel may not engage in
partisan political activities and all military personnel should avoid the inference that their
political activities imply or appear to imply DoD sponsorship, approval, or endorsement of a
political candidate, campaign, or cause. Members on active duty may not campaign for a
partisan candidate, engage in partisan fundraising activities, serve as an officer of a partisan club,
or speak before a partisan gathering. Active duty members may, however, express their personal
opinions on political candidates and issues, make monetary contributions to a political campaign
or organization, and attend political events, in their personal capacity, as a spectator when not in
uniform.

i dont know how facebook would be perceived by the military but i suspect there were photos of him in uniform.

Saying two people the government considers married are really not is definitely political.

should have said its against his religion a sin or something

that would still open them up to a lawsuit the first time he arrested a couple in the rest area for indecent exposure or something
