Loved the "good on them" comment about the wolves. That's trapping we certainly don't get them all. Good luck and I like watching, keep up the good work. Not having wolf or lynx I really like your videos

Yeah I was raised here. It was a different world here in the 90s. As kids we spent all our time outside of school hunting, fishing, and trapping. I was born in Fairbanks because it’s the closest hospital and nobody had been born here since the 70s I believe. My dad was born in a small one room cabin down by the river 250 yards from we’re I’m sitting in my house right now.
Good video...un-real country! When setting your double long springs...crank the springs back towards the dog. That'll lower the opposite jaw(loose jaw) and allow the trap to be bedded very stabile
Good stuff. I liked the way you flagged that cat set. Real similar to what I do for bobcats. A lot of times I am pretty sure where the cat will go and I dont use a flag. When I do use one I use it like you do. Up tight and low to the ground in the backing so the cat has to come to it across the trap.

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)
