Anyone near Scranton area. May be heading up there next year hunting private land. I always like a back up plan, so are there WMA’s, Timber Co land, National Forest, that are huntable near that area.
And would New York or even NJ be possible during that time. Do you know I’d your seasons are around the same time.
Anyone from southern NY or western NJ feel free to chime in also please.

I’m in southwestern NY, our season runs the month of May. Plenty of state land in my area to hunt on…..

Thanks guys. My son talked with the landowners and they said there’s public near them but it won’t be needed. They also said there’s plenty of public NY land within 30-45min away. Guess I’m hitting the PNW again this year then the NE next year.
