The number of people applying for resource positions in the early 70s was amazing. Being drafted and going to Nam took a couple years away as well. I am very glad I took all the dairy, soils, ecom etc. as I spent 37 years as an Ag Educator for adults in our Tech college system and UW Extension System. Got a lot of chance to use natural resources working with farmers for 37 years. Bryce

slydogx trapper S Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 3,397 Ontario, Canada	Big difference in definition of "college" between USA & Canada. Over here, college is a community college or tech school. University is about the equivalent of a US state level college or university (I think they are sort of interchangeable in the US?) For instance, I have an accounting certificate from college here but you would need a university degree to apply for a CA professional designation (similar to CPA in US). Also, you couldn't g a law degree or P.Eng at college here. I have a certificate and a professional designation but I never attended post secondary education until I was 30. Just happy to be here.
