A friend says he can’t find anyone who will ship herring oil to Minnesota. Sounds fishy to me. But when I started looking for herring oil, I haven’t been able to find any sources at all. Does anyone know who is selling it?
Thanks in advance!

I believe Trapper Arts carries it sometimes Edit just looked on their website and didn't see it. Seems he gets a supply of it occasionally and has it listed from time to time. Might give Adam a call and ask him about it. He's always very helpful when I've called.

Thanks Seth, I just sent Adam an email. He’s always been good to deal with. I hope he has it.

I’ve contacted FnT, Schmitt’s, Cumberland’s, Wolfer Nation, Sterling, Trapper Art’s, Dunlop’s, SnareOne, an email to Grawe’s and so on, to no avail. A hunting guide and supply service in Canada said he just shipped a pint to the states. The pint plus shipping was just under $50. He suggested contacting the fish processing cooperative in Alaska. But since the fisheries collapse there, few processors are operating.
H&B Oils Center, which is attached to EBay has it so I’ll check them out. It’s a good thing I’m retired.

The joys of lure making..... find a great ingredient and in a year or 2 u can't get it anymore. Spoonbill oil, pre tsunami white musk, pork brains aret a few I've come across as a hobby maker. Then throw in the price of some of the glands and its definitely an up hill battle.

I hope it last and ages well as I too purchased in past and never put it to intended use.
