My brother has one of the 1886 45/70s it’s not a bad gun and as accurate as you can shoot it

I own their version of a 1911 .22 pistol I used on the line.I wouldn't buy another.Does it shoot?Yes.But it jams at least once every 8 rounds.I attribute it to the plastic magazine, its single stacked of course but very sloppy, your rounds are not neatly stacked but somewhat staggered.I know the store I bought it from told me they had lots of returns due to stoppages. After I bought the pistol they came out with a .22 rifle modeled after the M1 carbine.I looked at one and saw the plastic magazine and looked no further. This was some years ago and I see their now into rifles, maybe they've got things together and have better quality than mine.

Won a lil badger 22 at a trapper thing. Came with a useless scope. I inquired about sights, they are plastic. I put on a red dot. The receiver is aluminum. Plastic / fiber picatinny rails. The open site model comes with a back pack carrier.

Chiappa is Italian for Cheap and now what! Cheap in Italian is "Economico". Chiappa actualy means "butt" or " backside"

I got one 22mag over 410. Great gun for the line-potted tons of grouse with it and killed some fur(fox cats beaver) with it also. Love the fibre optic peep sight on it. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2023/03/full-21521-172288-dscf5210.jpg)

I've got a Double Badger in .22lr/.410 It's a fun little gun and fairly accurate but not practical here for much
Just happy to be here.
