They're crows, the only ravens that are close are the chihuahuan ravens of the southwest U.S. & Mexico.

Ravens are quite common where we hunt and fish about 60 miles east of where Eagle eye's property is.
In the 2nd photo two of the birds in the back, one on the log and one on the longer, narrow stump have raven like bodies. Hard to see the beaks however.

Ravens are great to have around for a few weeks before they can fly. Then after they take flight, they will come to you if you fed them earlier.
In april some native guys would knock the nests off from under the railway bridges, the young ravens which could not fly yet would glide to the riverbank under the bridge where they would grab them and take them back to the cabin. They were the same size nearly as adult ravens and they would hop and squawk at the yard dogs and chase them off whatever the dogs were eating. The ravens were formidable with their large wingspread and had no problem intimidating the dogs.
In a couple weeks they would be flying but hung around most of the summer unafraid of people or dogs.
Once winter came they frequented the camps less often and became less tame over time, probably from the kids harassing them with their slingshots and catapults.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

I thought for sure they would call in every coyote in the area but I never had a yote on that camera. I heard that young Ravens will flock and adults will travel in mated pairs and will only call when there is more food than the pair can consume. They were constantly squawking but undiscernible over the 4-wheeler running. They definitely knew I was there, and the bears didn't or didn't care,

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

Crows. The raven's bill is thicker and is curved some with a hook. They are 2 to 3 times bigger than a crow.

Give me a fish, I will eat for a day. Teach me to fish, I will eat for a lifetime

I agree, they don't sound anything like a crow.
