I've been trying to trap critters for training my hounds with. It seems like every set, no matter the bait or lure, the possum always wins the race. This has been going on for awhile now. I know i have lots of predators in my area. Hear and see yotes, coons, etc. all the time. I thought after killing several id start seeing other critters but nope. Still possums

Georgia's season for trapping bobcats is Dec 1 to end of Feb. I thought you retired. Didn't know you moved over to a detective lol.😉. I wonder if he is trapping on his home state? He is not trapping to trap them to kill them its to run off problem animals and doubles for dog training and incidentals will l be released then ran off by harassed byb hounds so they don't continue to be a problem to the land owner. Much more human than calling the dnr and telling them the problem animal has been killed.

try setting for possum maybe you can pick up yote or cat
I would guess with not much coon trapping happening the possum population exploded also

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Never mind my friendly informative post. Just go and do as you please.
Along the way, try not to make us other trappers look like law breakers...iffin' ya get a chance.
Other than that, I could care less what the Op does.

Swamp you know this is the internet and there ain't no room for facts or educational post is all about feelings facts don't matter. Now as far as being a law breaker it's getting to where an honest man don't have a chance if he sticks to his morals and values these days he will even be labeled a domestic terrorist and the biggest threat to the republic he loves and wants to protect. So my opinion on breaking laws is not quite what it once was.
