The Brownings I've handled were light rifles. Maybe that's why the recoil bothers some.
The rifles didn't strike me as having stock designs that would increase recoil.
I'd never put a muzzle brake on a perfectly good rifle and ruin it. Recoil doesn't bother me--up to my .416 Rem Mag anyway. But a blast in the face and ears from a brake sure does!

I'm torn between knowing stainless over synthetic is maybe the benchmark of durability and thinking that stainless over a good lookin walnut stock is drop dead gorgeous. Now that that's out of the way, I will go back to insulting 160 Loser and his opinions every chance I get.
As far as you 330- I think you are ugly enough to be Robin William's! You are basically ate up with it.
