I will, happily, pay someone to change my oil. I worked at a service station for a few years in high school. Changed oil in thousands of cars and trucks. I'm done crawling around on the ground, ruining clothes.

I can buy oil filters from Amazon, including the one for my 07 Cummins, delivered to the house for less than they cost at the local Walmart.
I do get Prime free delivery.

I guess I am the only one that buys and stockpiles oil and filters. With 6 vehicles, 3 tractors, 4 atv/utvs, lawnmowers, tillers and a multitude of things that take gear oil - I constantly am changing oil and checking transmissions and hydraulic fluids - I watch sales constantly and stock up as I know its something that is going to need done in a few months or next year........

Man that is a pain, I'd be glad to take that truck off your hands since it's so much trouble. 6 speed manual?

Gotta live up to the nickname...

I just picked up Mobil 1 5W-30 for my two Ford pickups and it was 108.00 for three jugs 5 qt each. I buy the filters by the case off Amazon for little over 3.00 each. That's 12 to a case. There the Mastercraft filters.

So much for keeping it local , guess I will have to buy from the internet. I do buy from Amazon quite a bit just never have for oil or filters or such. No do they sell and deliver fuel for less then 1/2 price

I take it to town and let them do it with the same parts and oil for $250.00 plus they wash the windows and vacuum the truck. Something seems wrong here.

I can't hardly stand to pay someone to do something that I can do. But at the same time I'm not going to pay a extra $150.00 for the " privilege " to crawl under that thing either!

A lot cheaper than never changing the oil

Took my company truck to a new lof express place the other day. Sat in the truck while they did it and watched the whole process from a camera in the pit on a monitor mounted on the wall. Could very clearly see that it was done right.
