I had three MRIs last year and another one scheduled for next week.
If you have metal in your body, including iron filings, it may travel during an MRI, which could be very painful to fatal.
Keith Can't have one because of shrapnel, Inconvenient. How would you like to be the first guy with shrapnel to get one?

Having back pain is no fun, especially when all the trapping conventions and trapping season are right around the corner.
I hope you get to feeling better real soon, Bob.

Well I made it ok. This was at the hospital this time. Had a prescription for something to relax me this time. Add that to the pain killers I took and i was pretty well drugged. MRI tec told her helper I was in a lot of pain. I felt nothing. After getting home I was still sleepy. Wife told me this morning she bet I slept 16 hours yesterday. Results Spinal Stenosis and pinched nerve. Dr appt friday to see what we can do, Thanks for the comments just I just hunted down this thread to see how you came out, Bob. Glad you made it through this time, and hopefully the doc will be able to do something for you tomorrow.
