Let's see some elk taken. Took this young 6 pt and a nice cow Saturday morning on the ranch we work for in Wyoming. We had about a 1 1/.2 mile stalk on the herd but caught up to them at the creek. 2 elk down and 2 or 3 to go, we have unlimited cow tags and the spouse will be looking for a nice bull too. We share elk meat with friends that don't hunt and WG&F wants a ton of elk taken out of this area. We did get the ride right close to the quarters but the hike back to get it was steep and rough. Sid by side was loaded down. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2024/10/full-53905-232433-20241012_091231_copy.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2024/10/full-53905-232434-20241012_091734_copy.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2024/10/full-53905-232435-20241012_102147_copy.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2024/10/full-53905-232439-20241012_091429_copy.jpg)

I haven't got one (pictures) to share but have dozens from friends that have. I wouldn't post any of them though. Great bulls guys.

Never cared about horns. Always hunted cows in CO. Best eating wild red meat there is.
My doctor suggested I start doing squats, so I moved all the beer to the bottom shelf of my fridge.

I got a 6 X 6 years ago but nothing like yours, mine had crab claws to make the six. Probably just a 2 1/2 year ol guy but a trophy to me......jk

Three weeks in to general and I still haven’t got out myself. Hopefully i can push this thread to the top with a rifle laying on top of an elk soon… Whattha? I thought the meganose elk were extrinct. Great father son pic.
