No catches on my huge 5 trap line, but none of my sets had to be remade after being destroyed by a coon or opossum, so that is a good thing.

Season does not start until Saturday here. I so far, while bow hunting, have had two coyotes come by. The first one spotted me going for my bow, the second one never saw me draw my pistol. I shot the second one at 17 yards, she didnt go to far after that. My ears rang for a long time.
Cant wait to set on Saturday.

I'm just trapping coons out of a farmers barn, and his wifes 4359084687546097 cats are making it hard.. That will get me on there after deer season to trap the song dogs.

Nothing again I had a possum and a coon on my cams caught them and that’s it except for feeding the neighbors cats in my cages but even they caught on.

No doubt there is some fur in the traps,but I wont be going out today,its raining hard sideways and cold.
Tomorrow is another day.snow in the forecast so things are looking up.
Should be even more fur with the traps working an extra day.

I turned around to go back and look at a huge roadkill skunk but she had been in the sun too long.

18 rats today. And one old boar coon. We are skinning It but in my opinion It's not worth the time.

Got the oldest kid and the cur dog out last weekend and hit a couple spots found 11 that night. The pup is doing good for her second season. Still had a few coon give us the slip.

The second of the pair I believe to be resident here. Water not quite deep enough.

I had a coyote leave his calling card last night so I put out 2 flatsets for him and two dog proofs for a possum and a racoon that's gonna mess up my cat set if I don't remove them.

Well when I came back from work all 4 traps had mice.

Skunks and more skunks. They're plugging up my coon sets which usually don't happen. This is why I haven't started on canines yet. I just cannot stomach them things.

Season isn’t open yet and if we get the rain they’re calling for I won’t be setting beaver traps soon.

Along with the pictures above I caught 4 chisel plows and one manure spreader today.

No trapping for me yet but will set a couple coyote sets out tomorrow. Today ran each of my 3 feists individually for 40 min each. Each one treed 2 and if my shooting was better I'd have had a meal, lol.



High Performance Turbo is my youngest dog at 2 years it was his first solo tree and a blond squirrel is a great way to start.

I enjoy catching skunks too but seem to be more of them this yet. Couldn't figure out why they where plugging up my coyote sets until I figured out that they must associate as a coyote. Maybe not prime but I still put them up and donated them to out Tanned Fur Project. Quill, glands, fat and skulls help cover gas on my short line.

I caught a skunk today for nuisance work in a dp, our season dosnt start until nov 10th but I am ready to catch some coons and rats and hopefully my first coyote and mink

I put out 5 rat traps yesterday just to check how things were looking and had 4 rats this morning. I will skin tomorrow and see how prime they are.

Had 2 marten boxes and two mink boxes set,picked up 2 buck mink.

BOCO your mink just look different for some reason from ours......jk

Yea I get two or 3 in the elevated marten boxes every year,sometimes in the dead of winter.

Nope nothing . Trap was in wrong spot but could have had a fox

No trapcheck today,did spend half an hour chopping up some beaver carcasses for bait.
Probably go out tomorrow and set up 10 or 12 marten boxes and half a dozen mink boxes on the driftwood line.
I will wait until freeze up to set for beaver on that line.

My wife has a notebook from this fall and has 9 Coon , 16 possum , and 5 skunks to her credit ,garden and chicken coop are her go to locations . Ihave to dispose of them .
