I have been lucky enough to see B.B. King twice with comp'd tickets no less.

Not my normal taste in music , but great stuff. Awesome to see a living legend.

I saw him in concert in a small bar in Washtenaw county in Michigan in the early eighties. It is one of the best concerts I have ever been to.
He genuinely played to the audience. You could feel it. He wasn't just playing 'something he knew'. He was playing something which he sincerely felt.
That trait is very much lacking in the music industry.
You don't play the blues. You feel them and let them come out.

I think you guys are missing the underlying intent of this thread.
