Just bought a couple of these newer Duke 330s magnums and have a Coon Creek setter coming.
Anybody else using them and what is your take?
I can say I won't be setting them, lol.
Very well made looks like and heavy duty.
Degreasing them but not dyeing just yet.

Any tips on 'em?

Our creek dried up but thinking the beavers will show back up when it gets flowing better this Winter.

Tip on the safeties,

When you take them off the springs, rotate them all the way to the other side. This keeps them from getting bumped and reengaging the springs.

Get a trapper safety pin for them as other safeties won't fit on the jaws

Just stick your hand in one to get it over with. I have the ones he replicated. I got caught about a week ago right in front of a customer. Kinda scared him.

Started using them for spring beaver and a little nuisance throughout the summer - no complaints, strong springs seems like money well spent so far.

I like them. They tune up just fine. Mine needed flattening and deepening the notch a bit.
