My boys and I started learning how to trap last season. We've got beaver doing pretty extensive damage to a local pond. My grandpa trapped years ago, but I never got to trap with him or learn anything about it from him. When he passed I took a few of his old traps thinking they would look cool as a decoration but never expecting to use them. This season I've got two old 330s set. We started near the lodge. Trapping season here in IL opened on Monday. We got our first beaver Wednesday and the doubled up today!
