unless you are just staring or only trap coyote most have 1.5 coils. here is more fuzzy math for you,cumberlands has black holes for 63.96/12, duke 1.5 for 55.08/12 = 119.04/12 grizz run 225 and up for 12 thats just under half. now the part not in the equation is the speed of the gizz compared to the blackhole. id say that there is a definate advantage there. i own a dozen of each and plan on using them this winter for the first time. not busting your nuts just another angle.

Bottom line,buckmaster. They are a tool...not fit for everybody. I use methods that others would not and vice versa.If you have the 1 1/2s,I would recommend trying them.If the are not what you are looking for,sell them on the trap shed.I think you will be pleased with their performance.
