Good one. I haven't bought a nail in years. All screws for me. Less work than something nailed if you want to take it apart.
Wife told me to put on clean socks every day. I tried, but after 7 days, I could hardly get my shoes on.

my wife was a big knitter , there is actually a lot of knitting happening here in WIS at least. my youngest knits , crochets and sews , a friends daughters all knit. places offering classes , yarn shops , sheep and wool festival is huge and takes place in September here in southern WI she followed a lot of hand dye wool artists and there are a fair number of knitting shows around the country.

I never got into that mess. My older brother about 15 at time, had a guy show him how to take one down. They replaced the knives some parts put it back together. Even though he never did that again that I know of. He was the kinda that probably could have tackled Even later years. My younger brother is also very good at that kind stuff. Some thing I haven't seen done for years except by maybe Amish. Hand file and sharpen a good finish hand saw. Way back in day when I used pound nails for a living. Was old German cabinet build lived down road from.my parents. Charged me like $2 to file sharpen my hand saws. You didn't whipe the side those blades off with your bare hand. Take that glue chugger…..zzzzz Seppuku (切腹, lit. 'cutting [the] belly'), also called harakiri (腹切り, lit. 'abdomen/belly cutting', a native Japanese kun reading), is a form of Japanese ritualistic suicide by disembowelment. It was originally reserved for samurai in their code of honor, but was also practiced by other Japanese people during the Shōwa era[1][2] (particularly officers near the end of World War II) to restore honor for themselves or for their families.

Dowsing works and I don't know why. Absolutely! I gave instructions to my sprinkler crew last summer. Must have looked funny to all the neighbors watching me lead the crew around the yard like momma duck and her ducklings! LOL Hopefully I didn’t break the thread. Not my intent.

Working ground without chemicals. Plow, chisel plow, and disc. They should make spraying illegal before all the old timers die off. There will soon be no such thing as old farmer's, most of the farmer's now by the time they are in there 50s can barely print there name from shaking so bad, but they'll still mix 10 gallons of spray to kill a couple weeds around there bin. At least that's the way it is here.

Using a scythe, I did in my younger days. Did OK, but never mastered it.
Or peen sharpening them. I used a scythe to cut weeds under miles of a neighbor’s electric fence when I was in high school. Carried a long whet stone tapered on both ends to refresh the edge every little while. Never heard of peen sharpening. I assume from the name it involves some light hammer work and making a scalloped or somewhat serrated edge?

casting your own lead bullets I’d have to disagree with that one. If you check out Singleactions.com or Castboolits.com you’ll find casting bullets is alive and thriving. I’ve been casting for decades and can say the activity has improved greatly over the last three decades. Great mold makers and far more resources available than when I started.

Now that's funny. Son just had a re-roof done Monday due to hail storm. All Mexican crew showed up at 6 am and were done by 5pm. Son was home and said they had a Mexican station tuned in on the radio cranked up that blasted all day.

Not necessarily an art but women with a bush. Seems like when I was in high school all the sudden the bush became unattractive/unsanitary to everyone boys and girls alike. I was always old school in my thinking so it never bothered me a bit but it did surprise me how many people I heard as a teen saying they would not ummm play piano with someone with hair down there. My stepson works at a care facility. Day before yesterday an old boy rang for help and seemed almost hysterical. The old dude has Parkinson's and at 5:00 am decided he needed to shave his balls....I think I need not say more.
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

Am I going to heck for thinking this is hilarious?

Knowing how, why, & when to use a 3-4-5 right triangle! This goes hand-in-hand with the lack of ability to read a frigin rule(tape measure) and I don’t mean a slide-rule either!!! How many remember using a slide-rule eh???
