I got squash with red onion and bacon in a skillet. Got some pecan wood burning down to coals with some salted ribeyes on the counter when the fire is ready. Pretty simple meal but I like it. Like quail and fish too. Never had them at the same time. Stead of beer though I'm washing it down with some nice dry red wine.

They put tilapia in a lot of ponds and lakes around here, to control muck and weeds and produce food for bass, even though they die when the water hits the fifties in the Fall.

If you can find them in Florida they taste great and are fun to catch, fry em up along with Oscars and other fishtank fish.
