Nessmuck OP trapper N Joined: Nov 2011 New Hampshire	My 12 year old Welsh Terrier gets fed Science Diet ...and is at a perfect weight 18-19 Pounds...per the Vet . The big problem is that she is eating her feces.... And her breath smells like (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) . How have youns fixed this problem.. And a call to the vet on Monday is in order. Just thought I'd throw it out for discussion... And I can't wait for the responses...lol And thanks It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees.

If you start feeding her peppermints, at least when she eats her pooh her breath will smell better. I have nothing clever to put here.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

elsmasho82 trapper Joined: Jan 2023 Pennsylvania	They have protein taste buds. Unlike us. So they can taste the protein in the stool and it makes it taste GOOD. There are supplements that you can give for it. The old school vets claimed meat tenderizer would do the trick but there’s better ones now.

A lot of their prescription diets don’t do what they claim, we have seen. And their communications and shipping times are ridiculous when clients animals are dependent on these foods. There are so many boutique shoppe pet foods out now it’ll make your head spin. I’ve always been a fan of Purina ONE. Readily available and my dogs thrived on it for years. I now would choose Acana, that is what I feed my cats If I got a dog that’s what I’d probably go to

You need to: Change brands Pick up stool immediately Add something to alter the stool taste, like meat tenderizer or one of the myriad of offerings at the pet store. Mother dog's cleaning up after the pup's often develop that habit. Every kid needs a Dog and a Curmudgeon. Remember Bowe Bergdahl, the traitor. Beware! Jill Pudlewski, Ron Oates and Keven Begesse are liars and thiefs!

Seems like a waste of hot sauce and potentially harmful to the dog if ingested . Pancreatitis if ingested
