Don't believe I have heard of that one. I use a Cabelas grinder, and am very pleased with it. Tom

I bought a great grinder several years ago from Grinderguy.com

He gave free shipping from Oregon. He had to ship it free from Oregon to the outer banks of NC. Check the web to see if he is still around. Very happy with the grinder. It is stainless with a 1hp motor. Brother, it will grind.

This year we ground 220 lbs of venison and beef fat, two passes through the grinder. Took about 3 hours. We vacuum pack ours with a commercial machine. Money well spent and it will last a lifetime.

Cleanup takes almost and hour with detergent and boiling water.

I bought one of the $100 grinders from cabelas 5 years ago just for grinding trapping bait-done pounds of beaver castor, beaver and venison meat for bait and tons of fish and she's still going strong.Great grinder for the money.

I bought a 3/4 horse grinder several years ago after trying several other styles of meat grinders. I have processed at least 10 deer a year between my family and friends without a hiccup. I was skeptical of the grinder at first, and not really willing to put up the $375, but it has paid for itself time and again. Since then they have upped the pony's to a full horse, but even with the lesser motor, if an decent sized doe is boned out and meat cut into proper size chunks, my grinder will send it through in less than 5 minutes if I just dump it in a bowl. I use the large stuffing tube and package the burger in the plastic bags that Cabela's sells, makes it a very efficient operation.

I have a 1 hp. grinder I bought off ebay, and it works very well. you just as well spend a little extra and get a good one. I hear the cabelas grinders are good but for the price I bought the 1 hp. cheaper that their 3/4 hp.

This one Jonathan.

10-12 pounds-per-minute processing capacity, your processing time will be substantially reduced with the 1hp Grinder. It has a two-direction forward and reverse switch, as well as a durable stainless steel No. 22 neck with 15-3/4" x 10-1/4" x 2-1/2" tray. Weight: 58 lbs

It is the comercial one, run my first deer thru in less then 20 min. (double ground) Tom

Tmrschessie that's the same one I have. AWESOME machine. Best money I ever spent on meat processing gear.

I've ground lots of deer in the smaller 79 dollar type machines and they work. But it's way more work then the big one. I can put chunks of meat the size of my fist and larger into that 1hp and it doesn't miss a beat. The little grinders I had...have to cut it into small cubes and it is slow. It was always a dreaded chore before the big one. Now it's fast and easy. Same with making sausage. The big machine puts out sausages as fast as I can load it in. The little one was a chore...very, very slow for sausage stuffing.

I fought spending the money for years and used the little ones. Now that I have the 1hp Cabela's one...I'd pay double for it! I don't see any need for a bigger one although they make 2 larger ones yet.

just buy the wife a kitchen aid mixer as a gift.and then get the grinder attachment for it, then both are happy with a new toy.
it's what i did!
your grinder will have 10 speeds, can stuff saugage just like the big boys'.
the best thing is she will keep it clean in the house. you won't have to add it to the things in the shop collecting dust.

TLC same here, best money I had spent in some time. The 1 hp is less expensive to buy new blades and plates for then the two bigger units also. Tom
