I have tried everything. Camera settings different lights. This as good as I can get Any ideas And I can't check later because of work

It's hard to do. I found don't put the flashlight directly on the animal shine it off to side a little, then also hold your camera/phone off to side a little with your arm fully outstretched to left or right. Keep moving the flashlight a little until you can see an optimal pic in the phone screen before snapping the shot. And hey it's dark and sometimes that is as good as it gets! But hey you did get a pic and it's a coyote, nice catch too! Jim

I'd say get a light without a main beam and let the camera focus
