pcr2 OP "Twerker" P Joined: May 2010 Posts: 28,978 potter co. p.a.	none out,been here 50 yrs and whats goin on a mile or 2 upstream from them pics is something i haven't saw before.we got 2.2 inches of rain last night and the ice was 10-12 inches thick on most of that river.luckily we only had a couple inches of snow.hopefully everything works out for the people in town,never get to me and we are loaded with supplies.

flash trapper F Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1,607 smithfield, virginia	did a school bus run in minnesota and part of it was by the mississippi. it use to really jam up with ice in the spring. we had an on going bet when it would let go. all my kids wrote down their dates and they were so excited every morning as we rounded the curve by the river. the winner got a 10.00 coupon for mcd`s. these were 1st three 6 grade. i had as much fun as they did!!
