Just curious what your state's constitution says about the outdoors. Here in the great state of Wisconsin its right in our Declaration of Rights,

"Right to fish, hunt, trap, and take game. SECTION 26.
[As created April 2003] The people have the right to fish, hunt,
trap, and take game subject only to reasonable restrictions as
prescribed by law. [2001 J.R. 16, 2003 J.R. 8, vote April 2003]

Not here in Ohio, and honestly I can't much get behind muckin' with the constitution over game regulations. Please be reminded that constitutional amendments can be rescinded (Ask the prohibition ladies.) if John Q. Public decides to change it. Frankly, I feel privileged to trap, and I'm willing to do my part not to abuse that privilege. I do believe in reasonable restrictions for trappers.

I have to laugh when I visit here and watch folks bash minority groups. Trappers have to be one of the smallest minority groups in North America. To think that we can make demands, is absolutely absurd.

WI doesn't set its regulations in the state constitution, only outlines that the state gives the right to do it and regulate it. Thus keeping local ordinances from over regulating or preventing residents.
