Checked cat sets today the last set had a visit but missed it's been flurries and blowing the last couple checks so it's whisk broom the sets and hope for the best. The cat just missed the pan when he visited the cubby he also looked at the cage not far from the cubby but did not commit. 4 days remain in the season will see if he comes back added a little cat sludge and redid the waxed dirt.

Might be a beaver head the cat must of dragged it to the front of the barrel maybe? I did split a beaver for 2 sets and use a lot of turkeys and chicken along with some carp for bait.

Had to pull today I have a transport to do for the SO all day at 8AM and the season closes tomorrow, the cat came back walked around a bit would not go in the cage even though he did check it out again. Trap was snapped in the bed with a few hairs where the jaws/spring meet off to the side of the trap. After I checked the last time and redid the set it snowed and drifted for 2 days but today was nice to pull. Looks like next year on that cat always a few in these draws.
