Donald Bierman wrote several books on trapping; and, I have one of the, The Fox Trapper's Parner. However, he wrote another, much larger book, on predator trapping. My mentor had a copy; and, I read it from front to back. Does anyone recall this book and its title?

If you Google his name, many if not all his book titles come up. I punched in what you said above and got. " Fox and Coyote Trapping methods" and " Expert mink and coon Trapping" you might find more.

Not an easy one to find but there are a few copies floating around. Mine is not for sale. LOL

It is a good book, I grew up near Don. I was lucky to speak with him a couple times before he died. Very nice and always eager to speak of trapping. I was going to go over and meet him but his parkinsons was bad the day of. When I first called him I stated I was given his name by the furbuyer I worked for and I would love to ride along with him. Don stated he would love to but his parkinsons did not permit him on the line, and although he would love to just ride the scenery and show me how to look for locations most days he did not feel up to it. But he would welcome visitors if he felt up to it. My biggest regret was not trying other days to go over and meet with him.
