my grandson used to hunt, trap and fish with me all the time.then it got to where it wasent cool to hang out with grandpa.i invited my now 21 year old grand son to come along and hunt with me .to my surprise he accepted.this morning we were sitting in the ground blind.plenty of gobbling going on.a trio of jakes came to the decoys.i told the grandson pick one out and shoot it. the grandson made a perfect kill shot.sorry no pictures would have to have a panoramic lens the smiles were so big.i hope I got a new hunting partner again.i wanted to get him a long beard but a jake did the trick.grandson said he was shakeing like a leaf.hopefuly the love of hunting got the embers faned but good this morning.he was asking about going next year.long post , thanks for reading.now after my turkey.dave

Nice!

Trapping is easy you say? You try getting your target animal to step in a 3 inch area of its whole territory.

Great! Sounds to me like you planted the seeds earlier and now they have grown. I would bet there's more fun for you guys in the future! Good luck getting your bird!

He will be hooked again, just had some growing up and skirt chasing to do for a few years like we all did at that age. Good job on both of you
