I'm a 2nd yr trapper and a farmer, I cover a few acres every year this year I've taken note of the active dens I see, a few locations with mutipule, will they use these sites after the fur primes or do they find new dens after this years litters, how close can you trap to these locations before the coyotes will move...

They will leave the dens by July and follow the food. You can set traps right in the den area if you want to catch them right now.

A lot of times They will use the same dens year after year. What time of year are you talking about trapping around them. Right now during denning season or in the fall winter.

I want prime fur, id say oct?? I did good last year running snares at a bait station in a large block of woods 1x2.5 miles, Ive seen coyotes use holes in harvest season out in the open fields, do they just pick random hideouts or have established patterns, I plan on setting my deer cameras out a few of mutipule den locations just to see the numbers in that area...
