Incentive to better themselves if they want their junk food.

And yet grocery stores deal with that "logistical nightmare" on a daily basis. I see no reason why the food boxes need to be delivered to homes when they can be delivered to the same grocery stores the recipients go to in order to buy their food. They can pick up their gov't box at the same time.

I, on the other hand, am more in favor of eliminating the program and opening soup kitchens. We are a rich enough nation to make sure nobody starves, but I am not interested in paying to support their dignity. Hunger is the most effective motivator.

Politicians will wave that carrot on a stick and get their votes like the Commie offered it the last go around!
