Meet at 15282 state route 45 south at 8:00am we will give everyone time to get situated and start at 8:15 I will make introductions and we will talk briefly.
Johnny Copeland will be starting us off with a talk on urban and populated coyote trapping methods and discussing some of his favorite sets. 8:45-9:30
Brandon baize is going to be talking to us about bobcat trapping and some of his favorite methods. 9:40-10:15
Brian McKee will discuss snaring and what to choose and why and why snares are a great option for the beginner and young folks.
10:25-11:10
Leon smith with a special suprise demo cant give any spoilers but the kids wont want to miss it. 11:20-11:55
Eat lunch 12:00-12:40
We will have an hour of games and giveaways. 12:40-1:40
Nick Erny will be demonstrating the use of RBG traps for otters and beaver and other great applications for this trap you wont want to miss this one . 1:50-2:30
Joe eckert will be talking to us about trap prep , modification and choosing the right trap for yourself. These are such important parts of trapping and a definite need to listen to .
2:40 - 3:30
(Undetermined) will do a skinning demo and show proper fur handling 3:40-4:20
Brandon baize will speak on muskrat sets and some of his most profitable sets to make 4:30-5:10
We will once agian take time to do some giveaways (gun giveaway)
5:20-6:00
Conrad morgan lanham will talk to us about NAFA and fur quality and selling your fur 6:10-6:40
Finish out with any other giveaways and simply enjoy each others company and do some buying selling and trading all the experts will be available for question and answer and are willing to talk so feel free to find them and ask things.
Finish the day off at around 8pm but everyone welcome to stay as long as they want.
There will be cool zones set up this year to help with the heat .
If you want to be in the advanced class and run an onsite trapline bring boots and plan on walking. The advanced class needs to plan on being at the house around 7:30 and will be leaving by 8:00 you will have the opportunity to see Jonathan sparks a master trapper in his true element trapping predators. We will also be showing beaver trapping with a true on site trapline .
Everything is free of charge so bring money to spend on equipment and not on the class we enjoy hosting this every year and seeing how it grows.
Mr Rickey phipps is back with us making amazing bows and selling them they are great especially for the kids.
We are adding to the booth lineup and hope to see more and more things show up .
