I already hung it up for the year but can't resist a few more coon catches. I've been fighting the urge to set a few more traps for coon, so I'm gonna give in this weekend. Any advice on late season coon sets? I'll only be setting a few footholds (12 or less) and would like some "sure fire" ideas for sets, baits and lures. I already have a couple spots that I'm gonna blind set, but need some ideas for baited sets. These traps will only sit for 2 nights. Thanks for any help and ideas! Hopefully I'll have pictures coming!

Sorry, I should have clarified. These will be on my property, set to take out some of the coons that mess with my chickens. I trap them all year (with DP's) but wanted to set some footholds and catch a boar or two to have tanned.

While it doesn't matter since it's on my own property, raccoon trapping season goes until March 31. It is raccoon HUNTING that ends on January 31.
