I've got some old traps I'm wanting to do full modifications on, including changing out jaws to offset.
I have some Victor #3 and 4 longsprings plus a few #4 Triumphs. Has anyone tried using coilspring jaws in these frames? Or do Sleep Creek replacement jaws fit Triumphs?
Any experience or help is appreciated. Thanks.

Remember, the ends of long spring jaws need to be straight up and down whereas, most coil spring jaws are sloped.I would get one set of jaws and try them.

I kind of noticed that. It may take more tweaking than it's worth. I thought there was a post several years back on this subject, but I couldn't find it.

You could always just laminated the jaws and polish them up,I got a video on offsetting.
That being said if you still want to just change jaws your gonna want something that will form as straight up and down jaw as possible. The sleepy creek coils have a few that fit this profile fairly well along with having a good wide off set jaw face

Some jaws can be flipped around to make them offset, as in swapping right for left.
Or jaws from other brand traps are flipped and installed.
You just have to try and see
