I do not think you can use them in any state now.

I'm quite sure they are legal in Idaho.

Some states allow them if they are under water.

In Wisconsin we can use them only if they are completely under water (pretty much only for beaver)

Ended up with some 4 dls with welded on teeth... not sure if I'll ever use them or if I should sell them.

They're legal in Maine for underwater sets.

Quote:
It is unlawful to use a trap with teeth on the jaws unless when set, placed, and tended, the trap is completely covered with water.

If I’m not mistaken Tom Ohr from MT Man uses them on wolves in Montana. I think he is ordering them from a company in Texas.

Here is what Iowa law is

I drove through Virginia once. By the look of some of the residents, teeth are simply a bonus..

Just doing what I want now.

Guessing it's to the widest part of the inside spread. Indiana specifies measured between jaw posts and perpendicular to the frame.

That is how Iowa dose it I do by the jaws widest part. There was a thing about conibears and then they post a drawing on how to tell the measure of the trap.
