POTTSTOWN, Pa. - A Chester County dog breeder thought selling a German
Shepherd puppy to Vice President Joe Biden would have been an honor.
Now she's says it's one of the worst experiences of her life.

After news surfaced of her kennel, she became a target of animal
rights organizations. She received citations and even death threats,
reported Fox 29's John Atwater.

The German Shepherd's a breed revered for its intelligence and it
caught Joe Biden’s eye.

"The Vice President coming to your house! Of course, I was excited," said Brown.

Breeder Linda Brown was glowing in the spotlight, but what she didn't
know was that the VP had inadvertently made her a target.

"It's pure [Please excuse my language... I'm an idiot], it's been pure [Please excuse my language... I'm an idiot]," says Brown.

The new-found fame brought unexpected scrutiny.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals shot undercover video of
what it says were poor living conditions. The state slapped Linda with
five citations.

"The priority here is not caring for animals, but making a dollar and
as a result, the animals suffer," says Don Paden of PETA.

The allegations seemed a bit far-fetched to the breeder who says she's
given her dogs a comfortable life, complete with a pool.

The case landed in court and the judge took her side.

"I was cleared of all charges," says Brown.

Now with a reputation to repair, she'll get back to breeding, but she
says she's giving up high-profile adoptions.

"If God came to buy a puppy, I’d say no more puppies left. I would
just never do it again," says Brown.

The state says its inspections of the breeder were independent of PETA’s.

PETA tells Fox 29 that this case may be closed, but the scrutiny will continue.

P.E.T.A. needs to be sued until they can,t function. Them and h.s.u.s. need to have their tax exempt status pulled for supporting terror groups a violation of their tax exempt status . Bunch of cowards

I actually got a death threat from some Peta guy on one of my videos on youtube of a bow rabbit hunt. Shot the rabbit , head shot, instant kill

He posted he would put a bounty of 1000 dollars if someone would kill me and video tape it.

I filed a complaint and they found him thru his IP address, he withdrew the comment and sent me a long appology email

Don't think these people are playing with a full deck, or maybe better are 7 cans short of a 6 pack

Most of them are B vitamin deficient. Of course you get most of your B vitamins from red meat dairy and eggs. Oh yea one of the symptoms of this malady is the inability to think clearly. Kina like self induced dementia they should be institutionalized so they are not a danger to themselves or others. Just my two pence worth.

I agree with your line of thinking that they (peta and hsus)should have the legal fight taken to them every time they try to block law abiding citizens from what they deem to be offensive; hunting,fishing,trapping,wearing fur/leather, farming,animal breeding,etc.

Why did the State of PA issue citations from a peta video?

The quote that really set me off is that the dog breeder
"now has a reputation to repair" and had DEATH THREATS for being a dog breeder with unfounded complaints!
The allegations were dismissed, which means she should have grounds to sue the group for defamation of character, slander, libel, loss of income, and mental anguish.
Local, State and National organizations should aid legal action whenever an opportunity to challenge their agenda presents itself.
