Prayer request for 7oaks wife

I got a text from John Shute ( traprjohn ) of seven oaks trapping supply a little while ago about his wife Joy and
I asked if I could post this for him.

He said they would appreciate all the prayers they could get.


“Joy had a heart attack last night about 9 PM She has congestive heart failure and her lungs or half full of fluid
They moved her from Siler city to Moses cone I c u about 3 AM. She is stable now and off the vent We could use your prayers”

When I called him they were running more tests and she is off the ventilator.

Please keep them and their family in your prayers.

I just got the following text from John for an update on Miss Joy’s status.

“The EKG did not help much and they cant do a cath until she can lay flat for a little while and continue breathing properly which did not happen when they did a quick test for her breathing. Her color still looks good and she is very chipper so that's a blessing. She can get up and around her room and hallway fine on her own. They will do an echo tomorrow or Monday. One of the things they're discussing is infection in her heart or a valve problem. Thank you so much for your prayers and effort's”

John asked me to thank the Tman family on the behalf of Joy and himself.
I will continue with updates as he sends them, he got his puter out of the shop on the way to the hospital this morning and might check in later. He said he has gotten about 8 hours sleep in the last 38.

WOW!!!!!!!........y'all are awesome.

I had Joy look on here to see how big her fan club was and she was VERY touched from the support here.

UPDATE :: Joy is doing well basically and can walk up and down the hall on her own a few times a day and is OFF OXYGEN completely now.

They will do a Cath tomorrow, they still don't know when, BUT since she's been in since Thurs 4am hopefully she will be early on. That shop opens at 6 so I gotta be there a lil before..

I can't thank y'all enough for the prayers.....please continue for a successful scope job and that it will give them a plan of action.

They still do not know why her heart is weakened, so hope THAT can be decided tomorrow.

I just got an update from traprjohn with good news.

“This mornings cath found minor blockage but not enough to worry about.
But a valve is slightly wonky. They are doing an MRI in a bit to look closer at the valves.
Dr. says they'll use meds at first to try and repair and strengthen the heart.
She'll go home this evening!!”

Just got this update from traprjohn he asked me to post for him.

“She's home she's home she's home!!! After the cath this morning they did an MRI of her heart this afternoon to look closely at the valves to find which one is wonky. There still leaning towards infection and /or a bad valve. Dr. says with the meds he has prescribed the heart could possibly be strengthened as well as repaired to a degree. We see the doctor next Friday to discuss the MRI findings and any new plan of action. Thank you so much for the prayers and support has meant so much to Joy and myself”
