Saw him scramble up into the brush yesterday and had him this morning in one of my beaver sets (330). First white nutria I have caught since the early 90's.
Excellent, tanning it or mount. If you caught one in the 90's did you keep it ?

White,brown, blue, or pink, dead nutria is good nutria. Good job!

I already froze it so hopefully somebody that likes white rats will take it off my hands! (Weight 12 lbs).
I got one several years back and had it tanned. Fur feels different than a normal one. Softer

They are kind of different. Guard hairs are not quite as long and the feet and tail are pinkish but the eyes are still brown.
I've been kind of waiting to see if representatives of all the western tribes would come to camp out on our farm like when that white buffalo calf was born up in Minnesota?
