Second time was the charm..

About 3 weeks ago I put out some CRs for the first time and I connected a couple nights after putting them out but the coyote pulled the s hook apart and got loose, there was some blood but couldn't find it. To my surprise I lucked up and caught it today. The wound was about healed but I can't figure out how it was able to get the cable off

Anyone else ever had this happen

What makes you think it is the same coyote? Maybe Im just missing your concern.
