First day of Spring 2018

What a beautiful day in the hills. I went up to check the snow depth on a road I need to get up later this spring. Started at 1000'elevation (where the snow started) and ended up at 3000' where there was at least 8 feet of snow on the ground. Hard packed spring snow conditions, hopefully it will be melted out by early June.

nice pics.We have bare ground/mud in spots and 3 foot where the drifts were.hoping i'm far enough north to miss the huge eastern storm tonight.1/3 of PA ready to shut down already.
