What I like about weather forcasts is, If you don't like it, just change the channel and you will get a completely different one. I don't pay too much attention to extended forecasts because they have a hard enough time getting TODAYS weather forecast right let alone what's going to happen in the future.

i swear i am living the movie "groundhog day"was never a fan of it and even less now.

After seeing the weather that you live with in Minnesota, here on Trapperman, I appreciate our Ohio weather more and more. Most of the country seems to have worse weather than we do.

I think I have everything tied down good enough. So me thinks I am taking Sunday off and put my feet up till this thing blows over. Enough gas for the genny.....check. Beer....check. Meat in the freezer.... check. Water tank filled. Yeppers. Good to go

Inclement weather precluded my attendance at the state political convention in the sewer of the state. Oh well.

An extra drag on the wood pile too have a presser washer and a weed sprayer I can't let freeze so I keep a small fire in the boiler going for now!

About an inch or so of sleet and freezing rain and strong wind here. That pairs nicely with the inch of marble sized hail we got yesterday and the inch of rain over night. High today of 30. I believe it to be the youth turkey season this weekend, this should build some character in the little tykes. Jerry, I have burned more wood in the Central Boiler this year than ever in any of the 10 previous winters I have owned it. My dad always used to say to have half your woodpile left on February 1st and you will be fine. Never thought too much about that until this year.

Weather reporters are saying that areas in South Dakota got as much as 20 inches or even more. I cannot imagine how any one can even guess with the winds we have had. I estimate we have between zero and nine feet at my place.

So that gives you a average of 4.5 feet. Lol
