Trapper's World Legend Series - Bud Jenkins

I enjoyed reading this interview with Bud. He's an expert trapper, and he is a character too boot. If you've ever been around him, you'll know what I mean.

I recall one time at a Virginia convention, Bud was giving a demo when Newt sneaked up behind him. Newt grabbed his shorts and yanked them down. Bud had a stick in his hand and swung it around immediately and whacked old Newt. The funniest part was the Bud had no underwear on. He yanked up his shorts and continued the demo like nothing ever happened.

Bud is going through a tough time medically and I know he'd appreciate your prayers.

haha, enjoyed your article this month as well, used it last week and caught one though I didn't tie the snare off to a drag, not wild about that idea in the mess I work in.

We were thankful to get this interview in Trapper's World. Bill put it together with Bud on short notice.

bud and i talk several times a week. he has an army of folks praying everyday for him. like i said a few weeks ago on t, he`s doing a new treatment that seems to be working better than the first one. his family could use a little in the pocketbook. i`ll ask bud if it`s ok to post his addy here. as some know, he`d give the shirt off his back to someone in need. love that guy. scott

ok trappers bud gave his thumb `s up on it. boss, not sure how this works but i`m just going to post his addy, if it`s against the rules someone can do it another way....... 1129 homestead drive, virginia beach va. 23464. he had a go fund me page but that kind of went south. his mother and sister sure could use some help. thanks everyone. never have asked this but maybe the moderators could keep this at the top for a couple of days. as bud always says to everyone. I have been out on a trapline with no cell service and took all my back magazines to catch up on reading. I just read that article/ interview last night and enjoyed it as well, brought back lots of memories including those of onion caserole with grandpa!

My thoughts and prayers are with Bud also and I sure hope he gets better real quick!
