I have 2 Ford trucks and the brake lines went out in both, 6 days a part, a few weeks ago. Over all though, the Fords I have had have been pretty reliable. With cell phones, you don't have to walk much anymore, when vehicles break down.

That's so when they grow up and buy a Ford, they will already be used to walking. grin

Chevy toy is probably a push type or pull. Definitely not ride.
