My top 5 favorite Trapping Suppliers!

Hi everyone!
Here is a list of my top 5 favorite trapping suppliers:
(1) Minnesota Trapline Products.
(2) Schmitt Enterprises
(3) Kaatz Bros Lures
(4) F&T Fur Harvesters.
(5) Hilltop Outdoor Supply
What do you guys think? Who agrees? In MY opinion you can't beat Minnesota Trapline Products! All these places I think are the best!

Here's my opinion.

Tied for 1st!

MTP and F&T. I've order more from them.

A close 2nd Cumberlands. I've had no problems with them.

I've order from several other supply houses,but not enough to rate them. Although I've had a problem TWICE with one company that will remain a secret!!

Like I said I haven't ordered from many so I I can't rate them.

IMO; All of the large suppliers pretty much sell the same product(s). So it really comes down to service. MTP & FnT dominate that category.

I agree the 2 biggest are MTP and FNT and have had great service with both...but now I only deal w/ Blue Ridge Trapping supply in VA for (most) .....I like to support local and we have it down to....." Hey....this is Rick....please send me.....and they respond.....shipping it today" and I receive it the next day.....perfect for my operation.

I would add PSC outdoors to that list, I would put them at the top. Great service, great line of products and great people. Ole wonderful Asa wouldn't have allowed them to take over his line if they weren't good people. And, John is a member here who contributes, that says a lot to me!!

MTP is my favorite. Followed by FNT

I think it comes down to the people running them.

Gerald Schmitt and Cumberlands is where I spend my money when I have to order something. All great folks (not that others aren't).

I have dealt with MTP and Cumberlands and have great luck with both. Very good people working at both companies.

I have had good luck dealing with Adam at Northland/Trapper Art's.

Adam does a great job.

Southern Snares is at the top of the list for me followed by MTP and Okie Cable and Trap

Leakway's Trapping Supplies, York Haven PA

Coon Creek Trappers, Tionesta PA

Sorry not 5 in my area.

I have had good results with F&T and MTP has really impressed me. Fleming one order. First and last. 1st box didn't have all the items . Two emails and a phone call finally got a second box. During the call I ask why the prducts were not shipped, response Oh probably a back order. I said why wasn't that explained on the packing slip, no response. And now my mail man hates me. A bottle of all call was only wrapped in paper inside the box and the lid was not on tight. I could smell the box when he open the office door and he had put the box in 2 trash bags.

MTP, Schmitt enterprise, NO BS Lures, F and T, Cumberlands are my top 5 and pretty much the only suppliers i buy from.

Asa sold his line to John Chagnon, not PCS Outdoors. Those two are different, although John does run PCS Outdoors. One has a banner on the Fur Handling forum and the other has a banner on the Kids Forum.

I'm not understanding the distinction of the two Paul. When you go to the PCS outdoors website, you can see Lenon lures. Is not John and PCS one in the same?

PCS Outdoors carries Lenon Lures, just like PCS Outdoors carries my lures. John is the owner of Lenon lures, not PCS.

Oh, so John doesn't own PCS? I'm not sure on that.

They are two separate entities.

If you mean where I have satisfactorily spent money in the last few years; Apple Road Bait, Sudden Valley Supply, Bogmaster, Lenon Lures, Okie Cable & Trap Supply (and Dobbins Products but that would be six)

You bet. Lots of good dealers that were mentioned that deserve the mention here. I have always enjoyed doing business with Gerald. Honest, owner that often that answers the phone. Will take time to answer questions and is just a nice guy. Great service.

Sterling, MTP, FnT, Cumberlands and a tie between Grahams fur country and Beaudettes High country control

For books and visual aids .....MINK I LOVE. (And sterling)

I like to support the smaller dealers at conventions, and locals.
If I do order, it is usually from the ones that donated heavy to PTA.
