Is the f150 v6 3.5 non eco good or bad. I know it dose not have the power of eco or v8 but I will not be towing to much with it and just using it for a daily driver to work. How are they on gas. I never owned a ford before so I hope you can help me out thank you

I have a '13 F150 3.5 ECO and I really like it a lot. Been a great truck so far. 16 MPG at best though. Sorry, no experience with the non eco.

i work at the plant were that engine is made. it is a good engine but under powered for sure. price out the 2.7 and 3.5 ecoboost. there might not be much of a price difference in them.we also build the 2.7 ecoboost. i have a 2015 with it . what a running machine. i get close to 20mpg around town. on the highway closer to 22 or 23.

Stay away from the eco boost!!!!!! I’ve worked at a ford dealership for 17 years now. Get the 5.0L. My 2012 does about 21 in the summer and 17 in the winter. The 5.0L option is a little more upfront but worth it. Just driving, you’d be fine with that 3.5. My recommendation is no eco boost, or buy a ford factory ESP.
