That's quite the line up...I've always said I'd never go to Nevada for fear I'd never return. That might be worth the trip.

All depends on next week's big game draw, but I'm hoping to be there with my grandson. Sounds like fun.

I believe I just changed my plans from going to the western NTA to the NV convention. Same distance for me, and it is real easy to fall in love with NV!!! LOL

Going to be a good one! Can't come soon enough!

i was just there the week before it was a high of 60 degrees and a low of 40 ! theres still snow on the mountains and that creek water was on the cool side !

Yep been a super wet spring this year. Reminds of me of the monsoons in Arizona. It'll be plenty of warm in August.... the creek doubt it will warm up though.

I attended a demo probably 12 years ago with John Graham doing Yotes here in NH ....great time !

The Nevada Rendezvous is one of the few I'll be attending this year. I'm looking forward to it.

I get to see a lot of old friends, and meet some new ones. Bill and Joel will be coming to the Wyoming Rendezvous in August too, so that will be even better.

And, yes, I remember the New Hampshire conventions well too!

It's going to be our first time at a Nevada trappers meet. We are looking forward to it. And being so close to Elko I got some mining partners that now live there so hoping to look them up to.

Friday night will be a set up and vendors will all be there selling items As well as a Corn hole tournament. Saturday is the main day with demos, dinner and raffle. Sunday is break down

Have fun guys. I had a great time two years ago there. The burning ridges at night was a little freaky but a good time with good people.

That cobbler was ridiculous. Darn good Tracy.

You sure did it up right NVsage. By far the best run NV convention to date and I been going since my first one in the mid 90's outside of Ely or maybe that was in Dyer over on the East side? Can't recall.

An amazing canyon/campground, awesome food, solid demos, big raffle and auction and best of all was the great group of volunteers keeping the kids entertained. I think that is a real key for for getting family's to come back to summer conventions.

Any of you NV guys know Pete Shepherd ? Lives in Spring Creek . He'd be well into his 80's now.

How soon or maybe it is all ready set, dates and town for 2019?

Pete was there this weekend. Always shows up to the Fallon fur sale with a load of fur.

It was auctioned off and went for $200. Its sitting in my den right now.

The 2019 Rondy dates, location or who is running has not yet been determined.

One of the things I enjoyed about the entire rondy the most was when Andy was doing his demo and I could barely hear him over the kids that were a good 80 yards away.... like Mercer said that's what makes the Rendezvous so great!

I was lucky enough to have a great group of people, including my family help with the daily task. Couldn't have done it without them.

Pete is a great guy. Your assessment is spot on. Still at it, comes to all the events and traps hard 9for his age). A wealth of knowledge for sure.

He was a heck of a wolfer when he was stationed here . He's the guy who originally turned me on to the MB750w for wolf & wolverines. Fun to just pick his brain !
