Is the dirt close or does it get hauled there? That'd looks to be a fair amount of dirt.

In :NEWT'S WORLD"
I do not like demo areas with water in them.
1-Cant drive a stake in them. (The water would leak ) So how do you suppore a trap/snare.
2-The people sant see the trap/snare placement. When its under water

At the Kalamazoo National we had clay lined water so stakes were encouraged.. the close up video coverage helped wth the viewing.

Nice job Dahlgren. Just like moving the woods and beaver pond indoors.

newt our ponds are made of clay an line with use rubber roofing so anyone doing demo can do any thing they want dive stakes will be no problem smile
Very good work.A lot of sweat was involved.Looks GREAT. But the people still cant see the trap placement when its under water.
Just my thoughts
Ever seen the TV show Drain The Ocean ?Thats what its like when you trap tide water. Sets are made at low tide. Some times high and dry. That same set at high tide will have 4 1/2 (on my marsh)Feet of water over them.
See my point ? THANK YOU

Not much tide in Michigan.
Here up on the James bay when the tide goes out,the water is 3 miles out and just a big tidal mud flat.
