Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 07/21/1803:56 PM
This is one of our local girls who just came up missing on 7-18-18. She may have been out jogging at the time in our little town of Brooklyn Iowa which is right by Interstate 80. To my knowledge this is not some troubled young gal who just chose to take off. Car, personal effects etc left behind. Last anyone knew she was going out to run which she regularly did.
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 07/21/1804:00 PM
Oh no! Dang that doesn't sound good Bruce, I pray for her safe return, hard to believe there are people so screwed up they would hurt a kid like that Here just yesterday I was thinking k9 wasn't on tman anymore, lol
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 07/21/1804:59 PM
wow not good. that little truckstop has one of the best buffets in the country. makes the stuff they serve at Walcott look like dog food. never expected that from such a nice little farming community
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 07/21/1805:07 PM
I do not feel good about this of about her and now see more detail on here about the area.I hope it is not.Hope she is well and good health when she is back.
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 07/21/1811:47 PM
So sorry to hear this. I stopped at a rest area in Wyoming and there was a little girl about 3 by the front door all alone. Her mommy was in the bathroom. Very scary.

Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 07/29/1802:19 AM
I heard today that they are sure she is not at the pig farm. I wouldn't think they would have had time to pump the pit to make sure yet. I guess I'm assuming it is a confinement operation, don't know that for sure.
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 07/29/1802:58 AM
Very sad deal. My wife posted a deal on Facebook yesterday. In 11 days 40 people have gone missing in Iowa. It’s time to start teaching your loved ones to defend themselves and be aware of their surroundings.
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 07/29/1803:15 PM
Locally a scumbag that just got out of prison for kidnapping kidnapped a grown woman in front of her kids while her husband was out in the field. Lucky the kids called 911 and the cops got the scumbag after a high speed chase. I guess he had been stalking her for days.
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 07/29/1803:17 PM
If she is dead I really hope for the families sake and hers they find her quick so they may all rest in peace. If she is alive it maybe as bad as death. The prisons and death penalty are not working for these people.
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 07/30/1801:28 PM
They think it's possible she made it back to her boyfriend's house after the jog, she was staying there to watch his dogs while he was working on the road She might have been wearing a Fitbit?

Not according to the Iowa missing persons list. 11 missing females under the age of 20 in the last FIVE DAYS.

It’s a crazy world we live in, sad to say you can’t trust hardly anyone anymore. These abducters can’t be that sneaky, someone has to see something and step in and do the right thing. By the right thing, I mean a few .45 slugs to the face, might deter future abducters.
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 07/31/1812:17 PM
Hopefully she'll be found safe but it's very doubtful. As a father, I cringe when I see young ladies jogging down the side of the road and wearing those head phones/ear buds. Most are completely unaware of how vulnerable they are to sexual predators. ALL women, especially those who choose to go out alone, should have a firearm for their protection.
All that said, I'm assuming it was a sexual perv and not the boyfriend. He was working 2 hours away but 2 hours isn't that far to someone who may want to get rid of someone.
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 07/31/1812:52 PM
Sounds like they think she made it back to boyfriend's house and possibly did some homework on her laptop, makes me think someone local may have taken her?

And with no apparent evidence of a struggle or break in at the house she must of known her abductor would be my guess. Just guessing of course.
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 07/31/1801:21 PM
Do not know what is all going on of what is all is found. We just go by stories and do not know all the facts. I seen the news say about she might of came back home but not sure on alot is being said. Like racerboy stated,to me it could be someone she met when jogging and then follow her.We do not know the facts yet and they will not let them all out because of the case. Hope they do find her alive. See what info they will give this afternoon. because they said yesterday on the news that they want to clear up the rumors and what really is going on. That is from the law. Like stated need to teach and have those on there own or anyone to carry a side arm. Also know how to use it and with someone jogging with head set on or ear plugs they are easy prey.
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 07/31/1801:52 PM
Some guy after being reported taking pictures of young girls running turned himself in. They don't know if he has anything to do with this case yet but maybe this afternoon announcement will shed light on it.
Either way it's kind of creepy for a guy taking pictures of others without their knowing.

Even one person that is abducted is one too many and nothing could be more disheartening for family and loved ones than to go through that. But not every person on the missing persons list is an abduction or a mysterious/suspicious circumstance, the great majority are short term runaways and parental custody related situations.
There is not currently any thinking that I am aware of that all 11 missing females under 20 in the last 5 days are that similar to the Tibbetts case. That is not to say that none are, but we are likely talking about very few "true" missing persons in the sense of a probable abduction, etc.

Lots of sicko's out there walking/driving around. Its best to be armed and ready to dispatch them if it becomes necessary.
A young woman by herself is an easy target for the most part.
A few years ago I was getting ready to exit a state highway and there was a vehicle pulled over on the shoulder with a young woman standing outside it...broad daylight. I stopped and asked her if she needed help with something. There was a toad on the dash and she was afraid to be in the vehicle...

Anyone getting news from facebook needs there head examined. If you do a little homework you would find that the Owatonna Police Dep. has said this DID NOT HAPPEN. Just another case of facebook drama to strike fear in everyone.
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 08/03/1808:23 PM
I pray they find her soon and that the law knows a heck of a lot more than they are telling because what the public knows isn't much. If the red shirt is hers then it is huge. If the red shirt is just a red shirt someone found in the ditch while mowing then it is nothing.
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 08/03/1809:39 PM
The shirt she had had writing on it. If this shirt has the same printing it's hers but no one has said that, that I am aware of. The reporting leads you to believe its her shirt and that Cheney guy has something to do with it. I bet were pretty close to finding out something.
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 08/03/1809:41 PM
It would be hard if I were her family to not "interview" the guy myself. ... probably a stupid thing to do but emotions have got to be through the roof.
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 08/03/1809:46 PM
If I understand the stats correctly 4 per week that went missing in Iowa in 2017 and are still missing. 230's....for 2017 that are still listed as missing.
All kinds of sicko's and mass murderers are out there and never caught.

They may have their guy, just watching him and waiting for him to trip up.
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 08/04/1809:10 PM
I can't imagine what that is like, I too would want to know what happened or get her back, It's the hardest thing trying to figure out why things like this happen, being human I can't fully understand, I guess we will know why in heaven
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 08/04/1810:17 PM
All of them will pay dearly, the bad people, That's a tough thing not knowing, I remember the first episode of Unsolved mysteries, a small beautiful lady working for power company disappeared at work up in the Washington forest, her husband looked for weeks, poor guy lost his job because he wouldn't give up. Only a couple scuff marks near her pickup, no other sign. It really affected me to think how it was for them, then Susie H. From Mason City, Disappeared on the way to work, obvious abduction, I don't understand how someone could do that to people, it's horrible how many times this has happened
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 08/05/1801:30 AM
Its sad but I'm sure there are tens of thousands of unmarked "graves" of people who were grabbed for evil purposes and disposed of like a dirty paper towel somewhere. Satan is alive and well in the hearts of man...
A side note, for all the weeping libs/progressives about the feds separating illegal families crossing our borders, one of the real sub-stories that the weepers dismiss as some alt right paranoia, that a noticeable number of those kids were (are) planned for "white slavery" sex market/sm murder market. Think the movie Taken but at very much cheaper rate and seedier plots. Sadly many of those young people will end up in unmarked graves somewhere.
P.S. Tac20- Are you talking about that early morning newscaster gal that disappeared going to work? Did you ever hear of Sioux Falls' budding serial killer back in the 90s, Robert Leroy Anderson? Iowa authorities thought he might be a suspect in the Mason City news gal disappearance. They never found Anderson's 2nd victim's body and only a few bones fragments of his first victim but had plenty of other evidence eventually, especially after they found his "trophy" stash of those gals' rings and such in the ceiling of his mom's basement. Unfortunately, Bobby Anderson escaped full human punishment by hanging himself in prison. May the worms of H*** devour him forever in the eternal fire.
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 08/05/1802:18 AM
Yep, but I don't think they ever found any real connection.
Anderson's first successful victim (they think he tried grabbing a couple others earlier with homemade tire poppers), was an immigrant Ukrainian gal that worked at Morrell's with him. Anderson and a buddy grabbed one night after she left work. I think his buddy raped her but then left while Anderson killed her. Both of them then hastily buried the body in a dirt berm between a township gravel road and the parking area of a public hunting land out next to Lake Vermillion. About half a year later his buddy got grabbed by the law for some other felony and Anderson went out one night and dug up the decomposting body to get rid of it before his buddy cut a deal to flip on Anderson. The problem was that Bobby missed some finger bones that had fallen off and later after he was in the slam after the conviction of the 2nd vic's kidnapping, the state guys found those bones after Anderson's buddy did flip on him. The law never found any other body parts of the first victim other than those few bones found in that first grave. My brother and I were out at the public land parking lot a few years later and stared at that berm. It was very eerie and dark. Anderson was a very evil man...
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 08/05/1807:03 PM
You are exactly right racerboy. These animals do not fear solitary confinement prison or lethal injection death penalty. Really pray they find her immediately.
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 08/05/1807:47 PM
Tactical, Cheney is the hog farm worker that they interviewed on the news the other day. Sounds like he's been interviewed a couple of times by the authorities. According to the news he's plead guilty a couple of times to stalking over the past 8-10 years on a couple of different occasions. It's a bad deal all the way around. Hope they find her safe and sound.
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 08/10/1803:16 AM
Darn story is dying in the news. I really hope they can wrap this up quick for the family and this doesn't turn into 5 years from now "Yeah I do remember that story. Wonder whatever happened?"

Over $300,000 I don't think it needs to be that high to get someone to come forward if they know anything. They should put a cap on it, just in case some greedy sob is waiting to see how high it goes before they do the right thing.

Why is this girl special??????????? Probably 10,000 missing girls and women in the U.S. right now as you read this. Why is everyone focused on this one?

I've been wondering that as well. The body of a dead girl the same age as her, from the same state was found last week and the headlines read "Body found NOT Molly Tibbets"... as though the death of this girl meant nothing and as long as it wasn't Molly it was all good.
All I can figure is her parents must have the means to keep the case in the news the way it is.
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 08/10/1811:23 PM
Likely because of her All American girl next door persona. Lots who go missing are runaways or from a seedier lifestyle,so are seen as of less value in todays society.Unfortunately.
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 08/10/1811:48 PM
It's because her family is pushing for her to be found. She was loved by her family. If she was my daughter I would fight to find her and keep hope alive. I wouldn't expect any one else to. Only me and my wife.
Re: Missing Iowa girl please be on the lookout - 08/11/1803:29 AM
Not sure that it’s her family keeping her in the news, but an entire town, county and most of the state pulling for her.
It’s not common for a regular person, with little troubles or issues to just go missing out of the blue.
Especially in a small midwestern town, where everyone knows everybody, and people look after one another.
I’m 200 miles away and it makes you wonder could this happen to my sister? my neighbor? my niece? my daughter?
Tens of thousands of people just want to help and are eager to find this young lady, and many people are anticipating the press releases and news conferences for a break to get OUR Mollie back.

teach your daughters to be aware. don't give them false confidence in boy scout tricks by calling it self defense. young people tend to think they cant be harmed. take chances they will stop taking as they mature.

Pretty sound advice right here.
While I personally would do anything I could for this little girl to make it home safe, unfortunately, we all know what has likely already happened.
Its an ugly, evil world out there, and people teaching their offspring that it is not, are doing a huge injustice to their children. Teach your/our children to be aware, prepared, and to be survivors in general, and we will lose less of them to this ever present evil element inside our society.

I'm telling ya!
I've been listening into this on the radio every day. Sounds a lot like liby/abby? But I'm kind of biased in wanting something to happen that will ultimately solve libby/abby.

I believe the federal government has the ability to apply the death penalty. This murderer did not break state law sneaking into the country multiple times, he broke federal law. Seems to me he could be charged federally.

Yes
There is even rumor they are holding tongue due to liberal ideologies. But that don't mean we have to do the same! Nor drag them through the mud for their ideologies.
Leave them be and fight illegal immigration. It could be your child next time.

Wow, small world, cleaning carpet almost an hour east of me, long time customer, her granddaughter is- was real good friends with Molly, one year younger than Molly, her grandmother said she took it pretty hard, such a shame all those people have to suffer needlessly. Became friends in second grade
